50 Cent Launches Hi-Tech Watch

50 CENT is set to launch the latest product in his growing empire, a wristwatch with an MP3 player inside.

The G-Unit MP3 Watch, due out in jewellery stores this month, features 256 or 512 megabytes of memory inside its stainless-steel case. The 256-megabyte model can hold up to 8 hours of music with the 512-megabyte model holding twice that. A 1 gigabyte model is planned for the fall.

The watch comes with its own earbud headphones with retractable cords and a power adapter. It uses a USB port to connect to the computer for loading music files.

There are control buttons around the edge of the face for play, fast-forward and rewind, it also has an equalizer. Prices start at $486 for the 256-megabyte model.

The most expensive watch in the G-Unit watch line will sell for US$3500 and features a diamond-coated.
