Black Fortune 500 CEO Buys $18 Million Townhouse (Correction)

The NY Post's Page Six is reporting the purchase of an $18 million, five-bedroom, 7½-bath, 11,700-square-foot townhouse by American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault. The townhouse which has a basement pool and sauna was on the market originally for $29.5 million. Chenault's 2009 pay was US$16.8-million, a sum that included a US$5-million cash bonus.

Well this is embarrassing, turns out  Page Six made an error with this story.

"Our item yesterday about the sale of Aby Rosen's East 94th Street townhouse misidentified American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault as the buyer. Rosen must have been a bit confused — the buyer was a different Amex honcho, Vice Chairman Edward P. Gilligan. We regret the confusion."
