William Moss, founder and CEO of HBCU Connect, and Dante Lee, founder and CEO of Diversity City Media, were recently honored in Savannah, Georgia at the 2006 Black Business Professionals and Entrepreneurs Conference.

They were presented with the "Road Less Traveled Award", and were commended for their ability to collaborate in business and entrepreneurship.

Although both are CEOs of their own companies, they have found a way to join forces to give their clients a wider range of services. Last year, the companies together generated over $1 million in revenue.

"We should be competitors," says Lee. "But we found a way to work together towards the same goals without competing against each other, and it's working out to be very profitable for the both of us."

2006 has already been a great year for the two entrepreneurs.

Recently, Moss celebrated the success of his company with the launch of a new print magazine called HBCU Connect - On Campus. Meanwhile, Lee has been recognized as Ebony Magazine's Top 30 Young Leaders For 2006, and has been nominated for a Black Enterprise Small Business Award.
