Sean John Signs Eyeware License With Marchon Eyewear

Sean "Diddy" Combs, Sean John, has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Marchon Eyewear, Inc., one of the leading eyewear companies in the world.

This agreement will give Marchon Eyewear the worldwide license to manufacture and distribute both sun and ophthalmic eyewear for the Sean John label and the Sean by Sean Combs women’s label.

Sean "Diddy" Combs said, “Sunglasses add a certain sex appeal, while creating the feeling of mystery and anonymity. Expanding into eyewear was a logical step for us, and we are really excited to be making this move with Marchon as our partner. Eyewear is an essential accessory and completes any look."

The Sean John Eyewear collection debuted at retail in January 2007. The collection, which will range in price from $90 to $300 retail, will bow in Spring 2007 in the Sean John flagship store, select specialty stores, department stores, and sunglass and optical retailers across the United States.

"The Sean John lifestyle brand is an exciting and unique addition to the Marchon brand portfolio. Eyewear is the most visible accessory and we see this as an excellent opportunity for Marchon to serve new and expanding customer markets. This is a great collaboration with significant potential for both companies," said Al Berg, chief executive officer of Marchon Eyewear.
