RS Information Systems Awarded Census Bureau Infrastructure Support Contract

RS Information Systems, Inc. (RSIS), has been awarded the TCO IT Network & Telecommunications Infrastructure Support contract for the U.S. Census Bureau.

This Time and Materials task order is for a base period of two years with four additional twelve month option periods and is valued at $36,512,352 including all option periods.

"RS Information Systems is thrilled to be supporting the TCO mission, leveraging state of the art IP telephony and technologies with our skilled staff resources to support the Bureau and the decennial census," said John Holman, Senior Vice President, RSIS Science and Engineering Programs.

The purpose of this task order is to provide IT service delivery and IT service support to the Census Bureau, Telecommunications Office (TCO) in the areas of Information Systems Security, System Operations and Maintenance and Information Systems Engineering. The TCO is charged with providing the Census Bureau and its key customers with the world-class, state-of-the-art technology, IT infrastructure, telecommunications capabilities, and resources they need to satisfy their critical core mission responsibilities including performing studies, surveys, and censuses.
