Oprah Made $712 000 Per Day in 2007

Money bags, Oprah Winfrey, earned $712 000 each day in 2007, according to Forbes magazine.

Oprah, earned $260 million between June 2006 and June 2007, making her not just the highest earning African-American, but also the highest-paid entertainer in Hollywood. Forbes has estimated her net worth in the area of $2.5 billions.

Oprah's empire includes her blockbuster daytime talk show, satellite radio show, O magazine and the Broadway musical ('The Color Purple'). Oprah also owns stakes in hit talk shows by protégé Dr. Phil McGraw and Rachael Ray.

To put Oprah's daily take into perspective consider that Bill Gates makes roughly $20 million a day just from the sale of Microsoft shares.
